Dried dates can contain up to 70 percent natural sweetness - no extra sugar is needed for the orange-date sauce and cream. Together with the fresh figs, they provide fibre and numerous other bioactive substances, such as B vitamins and potassium for strong nerves.

If there is no season for fresh figs (season from August to October), then you can easily use dried ones, which you then cut into small pieces like dates and pour over them. In dried fruit, the healthy ingredients are present in concentrated quantities and the fruits are sweeter. If you prepare the cream cheese cream with figs with goat's cream cheese, the cream gets a slightly spicy aroma, this fits perfectly to this dessert.
