- 3 large waxy potatoes (about 5 ounces)
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tsps Sesame seeds
- coarse Sea salt

Preparation steps

Rinse, peel and cut potatoes into 3/8-inch thick fries.

Transfer potatoes to a large bowl. Toss with oil and turmeric.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; layer on potatoes evenly. Bake in a preheated oven at 425° F on the middle rack, about 35 minutes. Turning potatoes once or twice during baking.

Toast sesame seeds in a frying pan.

Crush sesame seeds in a mortar with a little salt.

Sprinkle potatoes with salt and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
