2 ½ cups grated Parmesan
1 Tbsp cream cheese
1 large egg white
3 Tbsps all-purpose flour (plus extra for coating)
1 Tbsp paprika
salt (to taste)
peppers (to taste)
cup Gouda (cut into small cubes)
vegetable oil (for deep frying)
To garnish
grated Parmesan
rosemary

Preparation steps

1.
Mix together the grated cheese, flour, and egg white in a mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper. Chill for at least 1 hour until firm.

Roll pieces of the mixture into about 20 small balls, placing a cube of Gouda in each ball. Roll in flour.
3.
Heat the oil in a large deep pan and cook the balls for 4-5 minutes until golden. Drain on absorbent kitchen paper and sprinkle with grated parmesan. Serve garnished with rosemary.
