1 Tbsp black peppercorns
1 Tbsp green peppercorns
1 kilogram Roast beef (whole)
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
coarse Sea salt

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat oven to 80°C (approximately 175°F). Crush peppercorns in a mortar and pestle. Rinse beef, pat dry and trim excess fat and tendons. Rub all sides with crushed pepper. In a roasting pan, fry beef on all sides in hot oil. Bake about 2.5 hours. Sprinkle with salt and cut into slices.

Serve beef with a melon salad, if desired.
