- 3 egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 grams sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 220 grams Coconut flakes
- Parchment paper
Preparation steps
1.
Preheat oven to 160°C (approximately 325°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add salt, sugar and lemon juice to the egg whites and continue to beat until the meringue is very stiff and glossy.

Fold coconut flakes into the egg whites with a whisk. With two teaspoons, scoop macaroons from the batter and place in small portions on the baking sheet.
3.
Bake macaroons on the middle rack in the oven for about 20 minutes. Let macaroons cool on a wire rack before serving.
