Preparation steps

1.

For the chicken, rinse chicken legs and pat dry. Rub drumsticks with salt, pepper, 3 tablespoons olive oil and lemon juice and cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator. Do not peel garlic cloves, crush with heel of hand once. Set smashed garlic aside.

Remove chicken legs from marinade. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan and sauté chicken legs for about 3-4 minutes and add garlic, 4 tablespoons water, thyme and rosemary sprigs. Reduce heat, cover and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.

For the crostini, watch carefully and toast baguette slices under preheated broiler until golden on both sides. Puree dried tomatoes and 2 tablespoons olive oil and season with pepper and spread over baguette slices and top with ricotta. 

4.

To serve, arrange chicken drumsticks and crostini on a plate.
