Naan bread vegan is prepared with spelt flour, which scores with high-quality protein, especially compared to wheat. It also contains a lot of fiber and unsaturated fatty acids.
Vegan Naan bread is perfect for the next party or outdoor picnic. Served with various dips, it rounds off any buffet.

Ingredients

- 10 ozs whole spelt flour (+ 2 tablespoons for working)
- ¼ oz Dry yeast
- 1 tsp Rice syrup
- 1 ¾ ozs Coconut yogurt
- salt
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
Preparation steps
Mix spelt flour, dry yeast, rice syrup, coconut yogurt, salt, and 1 tablespoon olive oil with 3 ounces of lukewarm water and knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes until about doubled in volume.
Then divide dough into 6 equal pieces and roll out into 1/4 inch thick patties.
Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and bake naan bread over high heat for about 2 minutes on each side.
