- 8 slices Whole Wheat Bread (may substitute your favorite)
- 4 Tbsps Mayonnaise
- 4 Tbsps yellow mustard
- 12 slices oven-roasted, deli Turkey
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese
- 4 Lettuce (washed and dried)
- 1 large, ripe Tomato (washed and thinly sliced)
- 1 small Red onion (peeled and sliced)
- 4 sliced Pickle (spears)
- In addition
- wooden Toothpick
Preparation steps
1.
Spread mayonnaise lightly one side of four bread slices and mustard on one side of the remaining 4 four slices.
2.
Arrange 3 slices of turkey, cheese, lettuce, sliced tomato, onion and pickles on each of the bread slices with mayonnaise. Top with the remaining bread slice mustard side down. Slice sandwich in half and secure with a wooden cocktail pick.
