2 Rinse basil, shake dry and pluck the leaves. Drain sun-dried tomatoes, reserving 3 tablespoons oil from the jar. Coarsely dice tomatoes.
3 In a food processor, combine garlic, onions, basil, tomato paste, sun-dried tomatoes, 3 tablespoons reserved oil, canned tomatoes (including liquid) and honey. Puree. (Alternately, puree ingredients with an immersion blender in a large mixing bowl.) Season sauce with salt and pepper.
