small Potatoes (preferably new potatoes)
1 ½ tablespoons
5 sprigs
fresh Thyme

1 Vegetable brush, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Small bowl, 1 Kitchen shears, 1 Baking sheet, 1 Brush

Preparation steps

Potatoes from the Oven preparation step 1

Scrub the potatoes under running water and cut in half lengthwise.

Mix oil in a small bowl with salt and pepper to taste. Rinse thyme sprigs, shake dry and cut with kitchen shears into 2-3 cm (approximately 1 inch) pieces.

Brush cut surfaces of the potatoes with the oil and spread cut-side down on a baking sheet. Place a piece of thyme under each potato half. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (fan 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F/convection 350°) on the middle rack for 30-35 minutes.
