14 ozs Spaghetti
2 Tbsps olive oil
6 scallions (roughly sliced)
2 cups peas
½ cup cream (35% fat)
7 ozs cooked ham (thinly sliced)
¾ cup grated Parmesan

Preparation steps

1.
Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the pack. Set aside 200ml| 1 cup of the cooking water and drain the spaghetti.
2.
Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the spring onions over a very low heat for about 5 minutes until tender.
3.
Add the reserved cooking water and cream and increase the heat. Simmer gently for 8-10 minutes, until reduced by half.
4.
Add the peas, spaghetti and ham and simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through, tossing to coat the spaghetti with the cream.
5.
Spoon into serving bowls and sprinkle with the cheese
