Ingredients

For the tuna
500 grams ready to cook Tuna steak
1 Lime
2 Tbsps light soy sauce
3 Tbsps Corn oil
freshly ground peppers
For the avocado cream
1 ripe Avocado
70 grams softened cream cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
salt
1 Tbsp Wasabi

Preparation steps

For the tuna: Rinse the tuna loin, pat dry, cut into 1.5 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) cubes and place in a shallow dish. Juice the lime into a small bowl and stir in the soy sauce and corn oil. Season with pepper and pour over the tuna. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

For the avocado cream: Cut the avocado in half lengthwise, remove the seed and scoop out the flesh. Puree the avocado, cream cheese and lemon juice in a blender or food processor until smooth. Season with salt.

To assemble, remove the tuna cubes from the marinade and slide 2 onto a small, wooden skewer. Place the skewer on a small plate with a dollop avocado cream and bit of wasabi. Season with salt and pepper and repeat with the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
