Preparation steps

1.

Heat the sausages in a pot with hot water. Rinse and slice the tomatoes. Peel the onion and cut into thin rings.

2.

Remove the sausages from the water, and drain well. Heat the oil in a pan. Halve the sausages lengthwise and sauté in the oil for 2 minutes.

3.

Cut the rolls crosswise, and fill with a sausage. Top with the sauerkraut, mustard, and ketchup. Serve the hot dogs with the sliced tomatoes, onions, potato chips, and the pickles on the side.
