- 4 Oranges
- 4 Tbsps honey
- 4 Tbsps water
- 2 Tbsps sunflower oil
- 1 Tbsp chopped chili peppers
- 2 Vanilla bean
Preparation steps

Working over a bowl to catch the juice, with a paring knife, follow the curve of the oranges and remove the peel and white pith. Thinly slice the oranges crosswise, reserve the juice.

Slit the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the seeds into a saucepan along with the vanilla bean, water, orange juice and chile and simmer 3-4 minutes over low heat. Add the honey, remove from the heat.

Arrange the oranges slices on plates, drizzle with the honey syrup, and let stand 30 minutes before serving.
