- 12 ozs Tofu (cut into 4 equal sized cubes)
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 ¼ cups panko breadcrumbs
- vegetable oil (for deep frying)
- 4 Tbsps soy sauce
- 2 Tbsps chopped Chives
- ¾ inch fresh ginger (finely grated)
- 1 Daikon (finely grated)
- Wasabi paste
- 4 cilantro

Preparation steps
1.
Season the tofu with salt and ground black pepper and toss in flour. Dip in the egg and coat with panko. Deep fry in hot oil (approx. 170°C, 340°F) for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
2.
Arrange the tofu cubes in small bowls with a little soy sauce and scatter over the chives. Top with a little daikon, ginger and a pinch of wasabi and serve garnished with coriander.
