Preparation steps

1.

Peel the avocado, cut in half, remove the pit and mash the pulp until slightly lumpy with a fork. Stir in 1 tablespoon cilantro and season with lime juice, salt and pepper.

2.

Peel onion and garlic and finely chop. Rinse the chile pepper, cut in half, trim and finely chop. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the beef until crumbly. Add onion, chile pepper and garlic and cook about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add remaining cilantro, mix well and season with salt and pepper.

3.

Rinse the lettuce, trim, shake dry and tear or cut into small pieces. Rinse the tomatoes, cut into quarters, remove seeds and cut into pieces. Peel red onion and dice finely.

4.

Heat tortillas in a pan briefly. Remove from pan, spread with the avocado dressing and top with the lettuce, tomatoes and beef. Roll tortillas around fillings, wrap in aluminum foil (if desired) and serve.
