For the dough
100 grams sugar
200 grams butter
300 grams Pastry flour
1 egg
For the icing
100 grams powdered sugar
3 Tbsps lemon juice

Preparation steps

For the dough, sift the flour into a bowl. Add the sugar and egg. Chop the butter into pieces and pour into the bowl. Chop everything with a knife and knead into a smooth dough. Form the dough into a ball, wrap in plastic and chill for 1 hour.

Roll the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Use a cookie cutter to cut out angels. Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 220°C (approximately 425°F). Remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack.

For the icing, mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice. Use food coloring to dye the icing. Decorate the angel cookies, let dry and serve.
