Preparation steps

1.
Put the apple juice, cinnamon stick and juniper berries into a large saucepan.
2.
Add the finely grated zest and juice of 1 orange and bring the contents of the pan to the boil.
3.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes for the spices to infuse.
4.
Strain the punch and use a ladle to pour into 2 heatproof glasses.
5.
Serve each glass with a cinnamon sticks and a swirl of apple peel.
