- 10 large waxy potatoes
- 10 slices Bacon
- Tomatoes
- 3 red onions
- 3 Pickled herring (coarsely chopped)
- 10 Cornichons (sliced)
- 2 Banana (peeled and sliced)
- 5 slices Leberkäse (about 1 cm thick)
- parsley
- Chives
Preparation steps
1.
Rinse and scrub the potatoes thoroughly and cook in a pot of boiling salted water until knife-tender, about 30 minutes. Drain and let the water evaporate. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crisp.
2.
Halve the potatoes lengthwise. Alternately fill with tomato, cornichon and herring or with bacon, banana or sliced meatloaf.
