Ingredients

waxy potatoes (approx. 120 g each)
1 tablespoon

beef tenderloin (approx. 180 g each)
2 tablespoons

onion (diced)
1.333 cups
cream (at least 30% fat)
1 cup
Walnut (chopped)

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C in a fan oven), 400°F, gas 6 and line a baking tray with grease-proof paper.

Cook the potatoes in their skins in salted, boiling water for around 20 minutes.
3.
Heat the oil in a pan and quickly fry the meat on each side on a high heat. Remove from the pan and season with salt and ground black pepper.
4.
Drain the potatoes, cut a cross in them and add the butter. Place on the prepared baking tray and bake for around 10 minutes.
5.
After five minutes add the meat to baking tray in the oven and cook for 5 minutes (more of less depending on preference). Remove from the oven, season with salt and ground black pepper and leave to rest.
6.
Fry the onion in the meat juices, deglaze the pan with the cream and cook for about 10 minutes on a medium heat. Finally add the chopped walnuts, season and serve with the meat and potatoes. If desired serve with salad.
