Nutritional values

The sharpened carrot juice whets the appetite and is a great alternative to alcoholic aperitifs. Sip after sip provides a portion of vitamin A that lasts for two days. Carrots burst with the vitamin A precursor beta-carotene. The root vegetable thus contributes to the protection against cancer.

Vitamin A is one of the fat-soluble vitamins: The body can only absorb the vitamin properly if it has fat available at the same time. Therefore, you should never replace milk, which is low in fat anyway, with non-fat milk. On the contrary: if you don't have any calorie concerns, add a few drops of high-quality olive oil to the carrot juice!

Sounds delicious! If I want to make it less spicy can I use only the mild curry powder?

Yes, start with the mild only. If you want more curry flavor just add more of the mild, instead of spicy, curry powder.
