I can't wait to try this. Is there anything I could use as a substitute if I don't have saffron strands on hand?

Saffron provided a beautiful red-orange color to foods but the taste is very mild. I would suggest a sprinkle of sweet paprika as a substitute, for both color and flavor. Enjoy!
