- For the meatballs
- 3 cups ground lamb
- 2 tsps Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 6 Tbsps breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp rosemary (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic cloves (chopped)
- salt
- peppers
- For the chickpea salad
- 2 cups canned chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 2 Tbsps white wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsps fresh cilantro
- 2 Tbsps fresh mint
- 1 Tbsp Caper
- 1 Tbsp Basil
- 1 Tbsp grated Cheese

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 200C,400F, gas 6. Grease a baking tray.
2.
For the meatballs: Mix all the ingredients together. Roll into 3 cm |1 1/2 inch balls and place on the baking tray. Bake balls 10 to 12 minutes, until no longer pink. Remove and allow to cool.
3.
For the chickpea salad: Combine all the ingredients together and divide between 4 plates.
4.
Place the meatballs on top of the salad to serve.
