1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 large Non-stick pan, 1 Slotted spatula, 4 small Bowls, 1 Paper towel, 1 Carving knife, 1 Platter (for serving), 1 Raclette set (with pan and spatula), 1 Serrated knife

Preparation steps

Peel shallots and slice crosswise into thin rings.

Melt butter in a large non-stick pan. Cook shallots over medium heat until golden-brown, 2-3 minutes. Transfer shallots to a bowl, reserving butter in pan.

Rinse veal fillet and pat dry. Cut into 8 slices. In remaining butter, cook veal slices 1 minute per side. Remove from skillet and season with salt and pepper. Arrange on a platter.

Rinse tomatoes and halve or quarter, depending on size. Rinse parsley and shake dry. Pluck leaves. Thinly slice cheese. Put tomatoes, parsley and cheese in separate small bowls.

Prepare and preheat raclette set. Divide shallots, veal fillets, tomatoes and parsley leaves among raclette pans. Top with cheese slices and bake until cheese melts.
