Preparation steps

1.

Rinse, hull and halve the strawberries. Rinse the raspberries, blueberries and red currants and pat dry. Toss the berries with the sugar and chopped pistachios and let stand for about 30 minutes.

Spoon the berry salad into small dessert bowls, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired, and serve.
