300 grams Pearl barley
500 milliliters Vegetable broth
4 Halibut fillet (each 140 grams)
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
250 grams Chanterelle
salt
peppers
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp freshly chopped thyme

Preparation steps

1.

Add the pearl barley to the boiling broth in a pot, cover and simmer until all of the liquid is absorbed, about 40 minutes. 

2.

Rinse the fish, pat dry and fry in 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan until golden brown on both sides, 3-4 minutes per side.

Clean the mushrooms and fry until golden brown in the remaining oil, 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

4.

Toss butter and thyme with the barley and season with salt and pepper. Season the fish with salt and pepper and serve with the mushrooms on the barley.
