Even smarter

The fresh strawberries add a joyful splash of colour to the fruit salad and provide this sweet meal with plenty of vitamins, including the immune-strengthening vitamin C and some folic acid for cell division. But the secondary plant substances in the berries are interesting: They have a cell-protective effect and can partly play a role in cancer prevention.

If you can't get fresh lemon balm, simply refine your fruit salad with fresh mint.

Preparation steps

Rinse the fruit, cut into pieces and remove the seeds and pits, if necessary.
