750 grams predominantly waxy potatoes

3 Tbsps butter
150 milliliters milk

For the sausages
4 size onions
2 Tbsps butter
8 slices Blood sausage

Preparation steps

1.

For the puree, peel the potatoes and cut in half. Cook the potatoes in a little salted water for about 25 minutes until soft.

Cut the apples into quarters, remove seeds and peel the skin. Cut the apples into slices. Heat 1 tablespoon butter and fry the apple slices until al dente.

Heat the milk in a pan. Drain the potatoes and mash with a potato masher. Gradually stir in the hot milk and the remaining butter. Mix vigorously with a whisk, and season with salt and nutmeg. Fold in the apples.

4.

For the sausages, peel the onions and cut into rings. Heat the butter and fry the onion rings until light brown.

Fry the blood sausage slices on both sides in another pan.

Serve the potato and apple puree with the onion and the blood sausages.
