1 Tbsp baking soda
3 Tbsps cold water
2 cups flour
Oil (for frying)

Preparation steps

1.
Combine the baking soda with the water. Pour over the flour and mix well with hands until dough is smooth and elastic.

On a clean working surface, press out the dough into a thin layer. Cut the dough into circles and perforate the centers with a fork.
3.
Fry the circles of dough in hot oil until golden. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm.
