1 onion
1 tsp butter
800 grams mixed Ground meat (such as beef or pork)
2 Tbsps chopped parsley
1 egg
2 Tbsps breadcrumbs
1 tsp dried oregano
salt
peppers (freshly ground)
4 small Tomatoes
4 slices Cheese (such as Gouda or Edam)
2 Tbsps stuffed Olives
olive oil (for greasing)

Preparation steps

Peel and finely chop the onion. Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the onion and cook until translucent. Remove from heat and cool. In a bowl, mix the ground meat with the onion, parsley, egg, breadcrumb and oregano, and season with salt and pepper. With moist hands, divide the meat into 4 portions and shape into patties. Place in a greased baking dish. Bake in a 220°C (approximately 425°F) oven on the middle rack until cooked through, about 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, rinse and slice the tomatoes. Cut the cheese slices in half. Thinly slice the olives. Once the patties are cooked, divide the tomato slices and cheese between them and put back in the oven until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes. To serve, top with olives.
