- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper
- 8 square slices Cheddar cheese
- 2 cherry Tomatoes (sliced)
- Lettuce
- 8 slices Cucumber
- 8 mini Bread roll

Don't use extra-lean mince as the fat is needed to help bind the burgers and keep them juicy.
Preparation steps
1.
Heat the grill.
2.
Place the minced beef in a mixing bowl with the onion. Season well with salt and pepper and mix by hand until combined.
3.
Shape the mixture into 8 mini burgers.
4.
Grill for about 3 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
5.
Cut open the bread rolls and place the tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber on the base of each roll. Put the burgers on top and top with a cheese square. Place the bread roll tops on the cheese and serve immediately.
