350 grams Ground beef
70 grams Bacon
1 Beefsteak tomato
1 size onion
1 pkg Toast (Scheiblettenkäse)
4 sheets Iceberg lettuce
2 Pickled cucumbers
1 Hamburger bun
Mayonnaise
Ketchup
salt (pepper)
2 tsps vegetable oil (plus more fro your hands)

Preparation steps

1.

Divide the ground beef in half, season with salt and pepper. With lightly oiled hands, shape the beef into two patties.

2.

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and saute on both sides until cooked to the desired degree of doneness. Rinse the tomatoes and lettuce.

3.

Cut the tomato into thick slices. Peel the onion and cut into thin rings. Slice the dill pickles.

4.

Just before serving, cook the bacon in a skillet. Halve the hamburger bun horizontally and layer the burgers, lettuce, cheese, pickles and bacon on the bun and garnish with ketchup and mayonnaise.
