Preparation steps

Quarter the chili lengthwise, then add to a bowl with the oil. Peel the garlic, coarsely chop, and add to the oil mixture. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then add the shrimp. Marinate the shrimp for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

Drain the shrimp well, then place on the wooden skewers. Broil briefly on both sides. Make sure not to overcook, or the shrimp may be tough and rubbery.
