Preparation steps

1.

For the dough: Mix the flour with the salt, egg, sugar, mascarpone and butter. Knead everything quickly into a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 1 hour.

2.

For the topping: Rinse the apples, quarter and core. Use a fork to peel along the curvature of each apple slice. Mix the mascarpone with milk until smooth, then stir in the eggs and sugar.

3.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to slightly larger than a pie dish, about 28 cm diameter (approximately 11 inches). Grease the pan and line with the dough. Cut off any excess edges.

4.

Prick the dough several times with a fork. Put the berries and apples on it. Pour over the mascarpone mixture and sprinkle on the sliced almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for 35-40 minutes. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
