Ingredients

For the fritters

200 grams
300 milliliters
2 tablespoons
melted Butter
1 generous pinch
1 tablespoon

Preparation steps

1.

For the fritters, separate the eggs. Stir the flour and white wine together in a bowl until smooth. Add the yolks, butter and vanilla.

2.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Sprinkle with sugar and continue to beat until stiff. Fold the egg whites into the flour mixture.  

3.

Heat the frying oil to about 170°C (approximately 340°F).

Peel and core the apples. Cut the apples into 1 cm (approximately 1/3 inch) thick circles. Toss the apple in the batter. Allow to drain and fry until golden brown 2-3 minutes in hot oil, turning once.

5.

Drain on paper towels.

For finishing, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Toss the fritters in the mixture while still warm. 

6.

Serve immediately.
