200 grams Pastry flour
250 milliliters mineral water
2 eggs (separated)
6 Tbsps sugar
2 Tbsps cinnamon

Preparation steps

1.

Whisk flour with mineral water until smooth. Add egg yolks and whisk well. Beat egg whites with 3 tablespoons of sugar until stiff and fold into mixture. Mix remaining sugar with cinnamon.

Peel and core apples. Cut into about 1.5 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) thick slices. Dip apples into flour mixture. Heat oil in a pan and cook apple slices, few at a time, for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and coat with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Serve hot or cold.
