for
1
Ingredients
200 grams fine Oats
100 grams Whole wheat flour (such as wheat)
50 grams Sunflower seed
75 grams Sesame seeds
75 grams flaxseed
1 Tbsp salt

Preparation steps

1.

Mix the rolled oats and whole wheat flour with 600 ml (approximately 6 cups) of lukewarm water in a bowl and let rest covered for about 1 hour.

2.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Chop the sunflower seeds coarsely. Mix the sunflower seeds with the sesame seeds, flaxseed and salt, and add to the oatmeal-flour mixture. Mix well and thinly spread over the lined baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan: 160°C, gas mark 2-3) (approximately 350°F) for about 15 minutes.

Remove the tray from the oven and cut the baked mixture into into small cookies. Again spread the cookies on the tray and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes more. Let cool and remove over a wire rack.
