Other types of juice are also suitable for this porridge, and instead of Type 1050 flour you can use wholemeal flour or wholemeal flakes.

- 1 Tbsp Pastry flour (about 20 grams)
- 2 Tbsps Apple juice

Preparation steps
Pour half the milk into a small pot. Combine the remaining milk and flour in a cocktail shaker (or screw-top jar) and shake vigorously.
Bring milk to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly. Add milk-flour mixture and whisk to combine. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and whisk in apple juice.
Pour mixture into a baby bottle. Check temperature before serving.
