2 Whole-grain baguettes
7 ozs cream cheese
½ head Lollo rossa (lettuce)
2 Beefsteak tomato
salt

8 slices sharp Cheddar cheese

Preparation steps

1.

Cut whole wheat baguettes once in the middle and then cut in half lengthwise. Spread baguette slices with cream cheese. Clean and wash lettuce, pluck leaves and place 2 leaves on each baguette slice.

Clean and wash the tomatoes, remove the stem end and cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Place 2 slices on each baguette and season with salt and pepper.

Place cheddar cheese on top of the tomatoes. Spread the top half of the baguette with cream cheese as well and place on top. Bake in preheated oven at 180 °C / 350 °F for approx. 10 minutes until cheese is melted.

Then remove from the oven, let cool briefly and serve warm.
