Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and trim chile pepper and scallion. Cut the chile pepper in very thin rings and diagonally cut the scallion into thin rings. Rinse carrots, peel and cut into slices.

2.

Toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet until fragrant. Then remove from skillet.

3.

Stir the flour with the milk until smooth, add sesame oil, sesame seeds and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and stir in the eggs. The batter should be thick, but flow nicely in the pan. Let rise for about 10 minutes. Then brush a pan with oil and pan- pancakes until golden brown, one after the other. Remove pancakes from the pan and roll. After they cool cut them crosswise into thin pancakes and distribute into bowls. Boil the broth with carrot slices and season with soy sauce, honey, ginger and cayenne pepper. Simmer for about 3-4 minutes. Pour over the sliced pancakes and serve sprinkled with scallions and chile peppers.
