Grate the potatoes and celeriac.

Toss with the melted butter and seasoning, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.

Heat the oil in a large frying pan, then add the mixture to the pan, pressing it down flat with a spatula.

Cook over a medium heat for about 10 minutes until the base is brown.
5.
Run the spatula or a palette knife underneath to loosen, then invert the pan carefully onto a baking sheet and tip the cake onto it.
6.
Slide the cake back into the pan the other way up to cook the other side. Cook for a further 10 minutes until browned and crisp.
