- 1 garlic clove
- 1 scallion
- 1 handful Basil
- 125 grams Camembert
- 125 grams Mascarpone
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- peppers
- 1 pinch Caraway
- 8 slices Toast
Preparation steps

Peel garlic. Rinse scallions, trim and cut into thin rings. Rinse basil, shake dry and cut leaves into thin strips. Remove rind from camembert, dice finely and finely mash in a bowl with a fork. Stir in mascarpone and lemon juice. Crush garlic. Add garlic and scallion to the bowl, mix and season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds.

Place four slices of bread on a work surface and spread camembert mixture on each. Place remaining bread on top, press gently and cook under a preheated oven broiler, watching carefully, for 2-4 minutes on each side. Remove from the oven, cut into strips and serve garnished with basil.
