Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 175°C (approximately 350°F).

2.

Add 1 cup of sugar to a saucepan and melt over medium heat while stirring. Caramelize until light brown. Divide caramel among ramekins and set aside.

3.

Place milk, condensed milk, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, 1/3 cup sugar, vanilla sugar and fresh coconut in a blender. Blend mixture for about 3 minutes on high.

4.

Pour over the now solid caramel in the ramekins and put ramekins in a deep rectangular baking dish.

5.

Pour about 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) of hot water into the baking dish and bake for about 45 minutes in the oven.

6.

Remove from oven and let cool for about 20-30 minutes slightly. Then run a knife along the edge of each ramekin and unmold on plates.

7.

Refrigerate until cold (overnight recommended). The next day, sprinkle with coconut, garnish with star fruit slices and serve.
