1 Orange (juice)
1 Tbsp Orange blossom water
2 Tbsps Sesame seeds
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp honey
2 Tbsps sesame oil
salt
1 pinch Ground cinnamon
1 pinch Nutmeg

Preparation steps

1.

Mix currants with orange juice and orange blossom water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, remove from the heat and leave for about 1 hour.

Roast the sesame seeds in a dry, hot pan until golden yellow. Remove from pan and let cool.

3.

Peel the carrot and cut into fine strips or grate. Whisk the lemon juice with the honey and oil. Mix with the currants and then mix with the carrots. Season with salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. 

To serve: Arrange on a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
