1 garlic clove
500 grams Cherry tomatoes (on the vine)
olive oil (for greasing)
8 slices Italian white bread (such as, Ciabatta)
8 Tbsps olive oil
150 grams Tuna (drained)
salt
freshly ground peppers
50 grams Parmesan grater (for garnish)
2 Tbsps fresh oregano (for garnish)

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400ºF).

Peel and halve the garlic. Rinse the tomatoes and place in a baking dish greased with olive oil. Cook for about 5 minutes until the tomatoes begin to burst.

Toast the bread on both sides in some olive oil in a pan, until crispy. Remove and allow to cool briefly before showering with the garlic.

Distribute the grilled tomatoes and the tuna on the bread and season with salt and pepper. Shower with Parmesan and fresh oregano leaves and drizzle with the remaining olive oil.

Serve immediately.
