8 large button Mushroom
2 garlic cloves
1 onion
2 Tbsps butter
2 Tbsps finely chopped parsley
100 grams freshly grated Parmesan
1 egg
1 slice white bread
salt
freshly ground pepper
1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse mushrooms, then cut off and finely chop the stems.

2.

Peel and chop the garlic and onion and heat in a pan with in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the chopped mushroom stems and fry for about 3 minutes. Set aside.

Cut the crust off of the white bread, cut into small cubes and fry in the remaining butter.

Stir the parsley, parmesan and croutons into the onion-mushroom mixture, then stir in the egg and season with salt and pepper.

5.

Set mushroom caps next to each other in a greased baking dish. Fill the mushrooms with the crouton mixture and bake on the center rack of an oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) until golden brown, or about 20-25 minutes.
