1 ½ kilograms new Potato
250 grams Bacon (in thin slices)
1 bunch fresh bay leaves
salt (pepper)
4 Tbsps olive oil

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse potatoes, peel, and slit lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.

Cut bacon into wide strips. Place bacon alternately with bay leaves in slits of potatoes. Season with salt and pepper.

3.

Coat a baking sheet with olive oil. Place potatoes on baking sheet and drizzle with a little oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) until golden-brown, about 45 minutes.
