2 Tbsps vegetable oil
juiced Limes
½ tsp ground cilantro
peppers (freshly ground)
4 Tuna steak (each about 200 grams)
600 grams Tomatoes
2 small, red chili peppers
1 large garlic clove
3 scallions
salt
1 pinch sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Combine oil with 1 tablespoon of lime juice, ground coriander and pepper. Rinse tuna, pat dry and combine with marinade, let stand for 30 minutes. 

2.

Blanch tomatoes in hot water for a few seconds, rinse in cold water and peel, halve and remove seeds and dice finely. Rinse and halve chile peppers, remove seeds and ribs and chop very finely.

3.

Peel garlic and squeeze through the press. Rinse scallions and chop finely. Combine tomatoes, chile peppers. scallions and garlic and season with salt, pepper, sugar and remaining lime juice.

4.

Broil tuna steaks under a hot broiler for 3 minutes per side. Season with salt and serve with tomato salsa.
