Preparation steps

1.

Peel mangoes with a potato peeler or a sharp knife and cut the flesh from the pits. Dice into approximately 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) cubes. Rinse the tomatoes, cut out stems and cores and dice into small cubes. Peel the onion and chop finely. Rinse the basil, shake dry and chop finely. Cut the chile pepper into thin rings (wear gloves, if desired). Cut 2 limes in half and put aside. Squeeze juice from remaining lime.

2.

Mix the mango with the tomatoes, diced onion, basil and chile pepper. Add the lime juice and the honey and season with salt and pepper.

3.

Preheat the grill.

4.

Rinse tuna steaks, pat dry and brush with oil. Grill on either side for about 2 minutes (to taste, longer or shorter depending on the desired degree of cooking). Season with salt and pepper. Grill lime also halves for about 5 minutes.

5.

Serve the tuna steaks with the salsa and grilled llimes.
