- 800 grams Rutabaga
- 2 onions
- 2 small red chili peppers
- 1 walnut-sized piece ginger
- 250 grams Smoked pork chop (boneless)
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 1 l Vegetable broth (prepared)
- 500 grams waxy potatoes
- 1 stalk Leeks
- salt
- peppers
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
Preparation steps

Peel rutabaga and cut into cubes. Peel onions and dice. Rinse chile peppers and finely chop. Peel ginger and grate. Cut pork into cubes.

Heat oil in a pot and cook pork until lightly browned. Remove pork from pot and set aside. Add onions, chile peppers and ginger into pot and cook. Add rutabaga and sauté briefly. Pour in broth and cook covered for 50–60 minutes.

Peel potatoes, rinse and cut into slices. Rinse leek and cut into rings. After about 25–30 minutes, add potatoes and pork to pot. Add leeks about 10 minutes before end of cooking. Season stew with salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
